this is why i hate it when people criticize sam for what he did in s4  as if dean wouldn’t have done the same or worse  as if dean hasn’t done worse already  as if sam did any of it for his own benefit  sam spends all of s3 watching his brother die before his eyes  he spends an entire year thinking  dean is gonna die dean is gonna die  dean is gonna die because of me  and people wonder why sam went off the deep end  he would have done far far worse to get dean back  and dean should’ve known better than to think otherwise  he couldn’t go a single day without sam before throwing away his soul  sam had to dig a grave with his own hands and dress dean in clean clothes and bury him  and then he had to keep on going without dean for months  you think about that  you think about that the next time you wonder why sam was so desperate to believe a demon  when she said the things that dean would say and told him sam could make a difference i just have a lot of feelings okay 

sam winchester is better than you.
